The mechanism of the synergistic effect of polysaccharides and emulsifiers on the stability, rheology, and beating properties of low-fat cream emulsions was revealed, and the related results were published in the top international academic journal Food Hydrocolloids (JCR Zone 1, IF=11.0). On January 21, 2025 , the European Commission issued the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2025/89 and revised the Attachment to the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2017/2470 , approving the full powder of the larvae treated with ultraviolet ( UV ) to be put on the market as a new type of food, and its uses include bread, cakes, pasta, processed potato products, cheese and jams. This Ordinance comes into force on the twenty days after its publication.
