2025Year11Month7Day, the Argentine National Service for Health and Quality of Agricultural and Food Products issued Resolution No.849/2025, amending the quality requirements for Chapter XVI Sausages in the Regulations for the Inspection of Animal Origin Products, By-products and Derivatives, effective from the second day following the publication in the Official Bulletin. Main content:
1.Starch is allowed to be added to sausages: its total weight ratio, based on the finished product, shall not exceed3% for dry sausages and10% for cooked sausages, etc.
2.Plant protein isolatesPlant protein concentratesor defatted and semi-defatted textured soybean flour, used alone or in combination, of the characteristics in force, in a proportion not exceeding2%of the total weight of the finished product, etc.
