    Australia and New Zealand solicits second opinion on approving cell culture medium quail meat as a new type of food

    On November 12 , 2024 , the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Bureau ( FSANZ ) issued notice No. 317-24 , of which A1269 applied for the second solicitation of opinions on approving cell culture medium quail meat as a new type of food.   It is understood that the application was submitted by Vow Group Pty Ltd. The deadline for soliciting comments is 6:00 pm on December 24 , 2024 (Canberra time).
