On November 6 , 2024 , the Eurasian Economic Union website reported that on November 10 , the revised regulations on food and labeling technology of the Eurasian Economic Union passed by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union will take effect.

　　These revisions will allow food to be launched in the Eurasian Economic Union market without changing the address information of the organization or individual entrepreneur (as their manufacturer, authorized manufacturer representative or importer). According to the amendment to Article 39 of the Food Safety Technical Regulations , within three years from the date of the name change of cities, regions, streets, etc., the address information of the food manufacturer (authorized manufacturer representatives, importers) is used as the identification of their location within three years from the date of change of the name of cities, regions, streets, etc. Next, if the actual geographical location and actual production location remain unchanged, food marked with the name of the food in the previous location is allowed to be circulated on the market. At the same time, Article 4 of the Food Labeling Regulations stipulates possible ways to convey true and accurate information to consumers in the location of the food manufacturer (authorized manufacturer representatives, importers).
