On November 8, 2024 , the US Department of Agriculture ( USDA ) revised the frozen juice standard and implemented it from the date of its release. Main revisions:
( 1 ) Independently selling small packages of apple juice allows for the use of concentrated juice or pasteurized juice;
( 2 ) If vitamin C is added for fortification, its content is ≥ 30mg/100mL , the label must indicate the fortification of vitamin C ; the sugar content of the juice is ≥ 11 ° Brix ;
( 3 ) Shelf life: If stored frozen at zero degrees or lower, it will not exceed 6 months, and 10 days after thawing .
