On August 19 , 2024 , the Polish Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection Service announced that the regulations amending the "Individual Food Labeling Regulations" on February 14 , 2024 will take effect from August 20 , 2024. This regulation will inform consumers about alcohol Drink rules have been changed.

　　Sets out requirements for the use of the term "tincture" and regulates the actual concentration of alcohol by volume in bars and restaurants. From August 20 , 2024 , to use the name "tincture", the product must meet the requirements for spirit beverages: no added colorings, flavors and juice, juice concentrate or wine products; maceration must take place for at least 15 days. At the same time, the regulations also require the labeling of alcohol content. Beverages with an alcohol content exceeding 1.2% (by volume) do not apply to drinks prepared on site at the customer's request or alcoholic beverages in the form of cocktails.
