According to　the Official Journal of the European Union, on September 17 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/2441 to extend the authorization period of Enterococcus lactis DSM 22502 as an additive for all animal feeds .

　　This additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additive" and in the functional group "silage additive" according to the conditions specified in the annex. The authorization end date is October 7 , 2034 . These Regulations shall take effect on the twentieth day from the date of promulgation.
