According to the Official Gazette of the European Union, on September 17 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/2427 , approving coriander essential oil ( coriander essential oil ) as a Feed additive for all animals.

According to the conditions specified in the annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "sensory additives" and in the functional group "flavoring compounds". The authorization end date is October 7 , 2034 . These Regulations shall take effect on the twentieth day from the date of promulgation.
