According to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), on 13 May 2024, the Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/1325 authorising the use of vitamin B12 produced by Streptomyces adherens CGMCC 21299 as a feed additive for all animals in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
In accordance with the conditions set out in the Annex, this additive is authorised as an animal additive in the category ‘Nutritional additives’ and in the functional group ‘Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically defined substances with similar effects’. The end date of the authorisation is 2 June 2034. The Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day after the date of its publication.
