According to the Official Gazette of the European Union, on September 4 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/2184 , in accordance with Regulation ( EC ) No. 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council, approving the NCAIM ( P) Fumonisin esterase produced by Y001485 is used as a feed additive for piglets and pigs for fattening of all Suidae species.

According to the conditions specified in the annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additive" and in the functional group "substances that reduce mycotoxin contamination in feed". The authorization end date is September 24 , 2034 . These Regulations shall take effect on the twentieth day from the date of promulgation.
