According to the Official Gazette of the European Union, on September 4 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/2185 , approving Bacillus subtilis FERM BP-07462 , in accordance with Regulation ( EC ) No. 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Enterococcus lactis FERM BP-10867 and Clostridium butyricum FERM BP-10866 preparations are used as feed additives for fattening poultry , poultry species raised for egg production / reproduction and ornamental birds .

　　According to the conditions specified in the annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additive" and in the functional group "intestinal flora stabilizer". The authorization end date is September 24 , 2034 . These Regulations shall take effect on the twentieth day from the date of promulgation.
