In order to analyze the new situation facing the current food safety of infant formula milk powder and effectively improve the company's food safety risk control capabilities and levels, the Special Food Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation commissioned the Beijing Food Inspection Research Institute (Beijing Food Safety Monitoring and Risk Assessment Center) to organize risk prevention and control exchanges between the second phase of infant formula milk powder production enterprises in Beijing and Wuhan respectively. Representatives from relevant regulatory departments of 22 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps across the country, as well as food safety directors, food safety officers, inspection managers and technicians from 121 infant formula milk powder production enterprises, a total of more than 150 people attended the meeting.

In response to the possible biological and chemical risks of infant milk powder production enterprises, the exchange event specially invited experts from the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Center to analyze the current situation and provide targeted prevention and control suggestions. During the technical exchange process, experts from many authoritative inspection and testing technology institutions have focused on the newly implemented standard testing methods, effectively solving the practical problems faced by front-line testing personnel, and building a communication platform between various production enterprises in the industry and between enterprises and industry experts to protect the high-quality development of the infant milk powder industry.

Risk prevention and control exchange activities effectively promote infant milk powder manufacturers to further implement the "two responsibilities" of food safety, accurately improve the inspection and testing capabilities, risk discovery and prevention and control capabilities of production enterprises, and lay a solid foundation for enterprises to further promote infant milk powder manufacturers to implement the "two responsibilities" of food safety.
