On December 19 , 2024 , according to the official EU communiqué, on December 18 , the European Commission issued an attachment to the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2024/3163 , amending the Annex to the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2023/2059 , regarding the list of certain goods originating from plants on the list of goods produced and sold in other markets around the world. The main revisions are:

　　( 1 ) The attachments to the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2023/2059 are revised according to the annex to the Implementation Regulations. In the annex to the Implementation Regulations ( EU ) 2023/2059 , fresh basil, turmeric and other goods have been added to the category of "non-animal origin goods";

　　( 2 ) This regulation shall come into effect the day after it is published in the official EU communiqué. This Ordinance shall apply from September 2 , 2024 .
