According to the Official Journal of the European Union,2026January26,the European Commission issued Regulation (EU)2026/154, which, in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003, approves sepiolitic clay (sepiolitic clay) as a feed additive for all animals other than dairy or breeding ruminants, weaned and fattened pigs, salmon, and fattened chickens.

According to the conditions specified in the attachment, this additive is authorized as a category of animal additive "Technical additives", functional group "Binders" and "Anti-caking agents". The authorization expiration date is 2036 year 2 month 15 day. This regulation shall come into effect on the twenty-first day after the date of its publication.
