On June 26 , the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety ( MFDS ) of South Korea issued Announcement No. 2024-307 , proposing to amend some contents of the Food Additives Code. The main contents are as follows:

　　New sulfur dioxide content specifications and impurity limit specifications are set at the same level as international standards.

　　The above opinions will be collected until August 26, 2024.
