On December 9 , the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety ( MFDS ) issued notice No. 2024-79 , modifying some of the contents of the "Related Regulations on Functional Raw Materials and Standards and Specifications of Healthy Functional Foods", and the main contents are as follows:

Newly set the application materials return and processing regulations for application materials: In order to simplify the review procedures for raw materials with review experience, if they are returned or withdrawn for less than two years, only subsequently improved materials will be returned.
