On December 5, 2024 , the Mongolian Technical Standards Bureau formulated the edible sea buckthorn oil standard MNS 0783:2024 , and the solicitation period was until February 2 , 2025 .

Main content: product classification and its terms and definitions, general requirements for product (food additives must not be used during production and packaging), specific physical and chemical indicators, limited requirements for heavy metals (lead <0.1mg/kg , arsenic <0.008mg/kg , mercury <0.003mg/kg ), packaging (the container is made of metal glass polymers and other materials, the capacity of large packaging containers does not exceed 10L , and retail packaging containers uses dark glass bottles with no more than 0.2L ), transportation, storage (the storage period is up to 18 months), and testing standards.
