Malaysia plans to revise palm oil and palm liquid oil standards

   On November 1 , 2024 , the Malaysian Standards Bureau issued two proposals, intending to revise the product standards of palm oil ( palm oil ) and palm olein , and the feedback period for soliciting opinions will be until December 30 , 2024 . The main revisions are:

  ( 1 ) Update normative reference files;

  ( 2 ) The limited standards for 3 -monochloropropane -1,2- diol esters ( 3-MCPDE ) and other pollutants in some newly added palm oil and palm liquid oil products (i.e., Attachment A ). The specific content is as follows Show.
