Haotian applied for the expansion of the use of natural sweetener "stevia glycoside" and has been approved

On December 13, 2024 , the National Health Commission issued the 2024 "Announcement on 11 ' Three New Foods', including Jinhua Tea Culture ". According to the provisions of the "Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China", the review agency organized experts to review and pass the safety assessment materials submitted by the company for the expansion of the scope of use of the food additive "stevioside" submitted by the company.

The expanded scope of use of the food additive "stevia glycoside" proposed by the company this time is mainly reflected in the four types of food fields: 01.03.02 milk powder and cream powder, 01.06.04 cheese and cheese products, 04.03.02.03 pickled edible fungi and algae, and 06.07 convenient rice and flour products.

In today's overseas market, stevia has been used as a food additive in the newly expanded application scope of dairy products, cheese products, pickled products, etc. On this basis, the complex solution created by Haotian can provide more additional benefits to terminal products.

Taking NAN Stevia series of milk powder launched by Nestlé as a market case, stevia is used as a natural sweetener in the product, aiming to provide low-sugar options for consumers who are concerned about sugar intake. The range is suitable for infants and children, helping to reduce the amount of sugar added while still maintaining the taste and nutritional value of the milk powder.
