According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on September 16 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/2412 to extend the authorization of a preparation of Pediococcus pentosaceus DSM 23688 ( a preparation of Pediococcus pentosaceus DSM 23688 ) as an additive for all animal feeds the term.

　　This additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additive" and in the functional group "silage additive" according to the conditions specified in the annex. The authorization end date is October 6 , 2034 . These Regulations shall take effect on the twentieth day from the date of promulgation.
