According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on June 26 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/1755 , approving acetic acid , calcium acetate and sodium diacetate as feed additives for fish in accordance with Regulation ( EC ) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council .

　　Under the conditions specified in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additives" and in the functional group "preservatives". The authorization ends on July 16 , 2034. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day after its publication.
