According to Food Standards Australia and New Zealand ( FSANZ ), on September 9 , 2024 , Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued Notice No. 306-24 , including application number A1310 , applying for approval of the genetically modified soybean strain MON94637 for use in food.

It is understood that the genetically modified soybean strain MON94637 can prevent lepidopteran pests.
