According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on June 24 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/1743 , approving endo -1,4- β - mannanase produced by Thermomyces pyogenes DSM 33149 as  a feed additive for fattening poultry and ornamental birds in accordance with Regulation ( EC ) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council .

　　Under the conditions specified in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additives" and in the functional group "digestion enhancers". The authorization ends on July 14 , 2034. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day after its publication.
