According to the Official Journal of the European Union,onMarch12,2026,the European Commission published Regulation (EU） 2026/538 ) approving the use of yellow psyllium gum produced by the wild yeast (ATCC SD-7012 , DSM 23730 , CNCM I-4861 and CIP 74.23 ) as a feed additive for all animals other than cats, dogs and aquatic species.

According to the conditions stipulated in the attachment, this additive is authorized as a feed additive belonging to the category of "technological additives", with functional groups of "stabilizers" and "thickeners". The expiration date of the authorization is2036year4month1day. This regulation shall come into force on the twentieth day after the date of its promulgation.
