On January 23 , 2025 , according to the official EU communiqué, the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2025/106 , approving the active substance Bacillus subtilis strain RTI477 as a low-risk substance.

The approval period for 　　Bacillus subtilis strain RTI477 is February 12 , 2040 . This Regulation shall come into force on the 20th day from the date of its publication.
