On September 12 , 2024 , Peru plans to formulate standards for fortified added nutrients in rice , and the feedback period ends on November 11 , 2024 . Main content:

　　( 1 ) Purpose, scope of application and definition;

　　( 2 ) Requirements for nutrient fortification. The minimum addition requirements for vitamin A and other nutrients are as shown in the table below; imported rice must also meet the above addition requirements;

　　( 3 ) Product label. Micronutrient content information must be labeled, and a micronutrient content test report must be provided by an accredited laboratory;

　　( 4 ) Sampling testing methods and specific requirements for monitoring.
