On December 17 , 2024 , according to the Moldova Legal Portal, the Moldova Government decided to modify resolution 624/2020 (on the approval of the quality requirements for meat products and meat products). The main modifications include:

　　(1) The scope of application quality requirements apply to the following product categories stipulated in Law No. 172/2014 of the Comprehensive Catalog Law: 0209, 0210, 160100, 1602, 1902;

　　( 2 ) Classification and definition of meat products: Canned meat sauce: made of first- and second-level edible meat or internal organs, cut into pieces, blanched, and grinded until evenly pasted; canned meat-containing paste: plant-based and meat-based mixed products, with a meat content of at least 10% ; mature raw meat products: new classification, including: raw material classification, process classification, diameter classification, etc.;

　　( 3 ) Labels and identification: When a certain animal meat accounts for more than half of the final product, the animal species must be indicated on the product name and label, and relevant images can be attached;

　　( 4 ) Modify the technical parameters of meat products in Appendix 2 , including specific indicators such as protein, fat, salt, starch, and filling content;

　　( 5 ) The resolution will take effect three months after the date of publication of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
