According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on June 21 , 2024 , the European Commission issued Regulation ( EU ) No. 2024/1723 , approving Duddingtonia flagrans NCIMB 30336 as a feed additive for herbivorous dairy animals cattle, sheep and goats in accordance with Regulation ( EC ) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council .

　　Under the conditions specified in the Annex, this additive is authorized as an animal additive in the category "technical additives" and in the functional group "other technical animal additives". The authorization ends on July 11 , 2034. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day after its publication.
