According to the Official Journal of the European Union,onJanuary26,2026,the European Commission adopted Regulation (EU ) No 2026/154 pursuant to Regulation (EC No 1831/2003 ) approving sepiolitic clay as a feed additive for all animals other than those used for milk production or breeding, suckling and fattening pigs, salmon and fattening chickens.

According to the conditions stipulated in the attachment, this additive is authorized as a feed additive belonging to the category of "technical additives", with the functional group of "binder" and "anti-caking agent". The authorization expiration date is2036year2month15day. This regulation shall come into force on the twentieth day after the date of its promulgation.
