Not long ago, Professor Jules Hoffman, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, a member of the French National Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Infinitus Global Scientific Advisory Committee, attended the launch of the results of the Hoffman Infinitus Research Program - the Immunization Results of Chinese Herbal Complex Polysaccharides.

The event brought together guests including Professor Jean Luc Imler, Director of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology of the French National Academy of Sciences, Member of the Infinitus Global Scientific Advisory Committee, Chief Researcher of the Hoffmann Infinitus Research Program, Professor Dominic Ferndong, a core member of the Hoffmann Infinitus Research Program team, Ms. Chen Di, associate researcher of the Guangzhou Hoffmann Institute of Immunization, and Mr. Yu Jianglin, CEO of Infinitus Global and Vice Chairman of Infinitus (China) Co., Ltd., Mr. Ma Jun, Vice President and Chief Science and Technology Innovation Officer, and other guests, to witness this historic moment together.

Mr. Yu Jianglin delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the company: "On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the establishment of the 'Hoffman Infinitus Research Plan', we are deeply honored to work with Professor Hoffman and his team to jointly tap the potential of Chinese herbal compound polysaccharides to regulate immunity. To carry forward Chinese health culture, it not only requires inheritance, but also development and innovation. Our problem-solving idea is to combine Eastern wisdom with modern technology to meet the health needs of today's users more efficiently, safely and lastingly. To achieve all this, we need to continuously improve the company's independent scientific research capabilities and gather scientific research forces from the world. Especially as the core technology of nourishing and solidifying, the Chinese herbal compound polysaccharides still have huge potential to be realized in regulating immunity and delaying aging. I believe that with the joint efforts of both parties, more research results will be produced in the future."

In his speech, Professor Hoffman reviewed the cooperation process with Infinitus and shared his insights on Chinese herbal medicine: "Since Infinitus and I signed the Hoffmann Infinitus Research Project in France in 2017 , we have been committed to building a bridge of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and use modern science and technology to deeply study the active mechanisms of Chinese herbal medicines on the work of Chinese herbal medicines to promote the transformation and application of basic research and benefit human health. In cooperation with Infinitus, we have seen that Chinese herbal medicines can indeed activate immune pathways through the verification of the fruit fly model, which made me deeply feel the charm and potential of Chinese herbal medicines. I believe that Chinese herbal medicines will play an increasingly important role in the future development of human health."

2 Results released and shared scientific research wisdom

Professor Imler released the results of the study on the efficacy and mechanism of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide formula for regulating immunity and antiviral: "We used genome-wide transcription analysis technology to determine 16,000 genes in S2 cells of Drosophila , and found that three types of genes involved in the immune response process of the Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide formula are regulated by Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide formula. The expression changes of these genes can activate the body's immune regulatory pathway, thereby enhancing the function of the immune system against foreign invasion. This research result strongly verifies that Chinese herbal medicines derived from traditional Eastern wisdom have significant effects in enhancing the function of the immune system."

Infinitus has released the verification results of the combination of the prescription for shiitake mushrooms, poria cocos, and treya polysaccharides and Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides. Immunity has two major functions, namely, resisting pathogenic microorganisms and maintaining the homeostasis of internal cells.
